Brigitte Bardot

Whereas you young whippersnappers see your celebrities nude all the time, back in my day, we didn't. I remember Brigitte Bardot being a big deal, because she was French. It was known that French girls were sexy, French girls were fun, French girls were naughty.

I grew up in a sexually repressed time, with absolutely no nudity in movies. French movies were the exception, because they were considered "foreign" and "artistic." So a lot of us young Gents would flock to the theatre to see movies that had French actresses, mainly Brigitte Bardot, our favorite.

I'm not going to get into a discussion about her current politics, whether I agree with them or not. This is more to relive a different day. I'm not going to say my day was better or worse, just different. There were some better things about growing up in my day. Crime was lower. People were more polite. But we were sexually backwards. Now I think we're too sexually open, but that's another story. I'm not going to get in a debate with any of you about this again.

So shut up and enjoy Brigitte Bardot. They just don't make them like they used to. Your celebrities nowadays don't have any class.
