Salma Hayek

A Pretentious Critic favorite, I have no idea why it took so long to create a Salma Hayek appreciation page. I think it was because each one of us assumed the other would do it.

Well, here is one. Better late than never.

Salma Hayek was born in Coatzacoalcos, Mexico in Septemer 2, 1966. In Mexico, she was already big before landing her famous role in Desperado, an awesome Robert Rodriguez flick. Even better, she performed in one of the sexiest scenes in cimematic history in From Dusk 'Til Dawn, a film by Robert Rodriguez and Quenton Tarantino.

She's now one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood, but we proudly boast that we knew about her before most of you did.
