Eva Mendes

My friends, do a search for that banned Calvin Klein ad with Eva Mendes. I'll give you a rundown. She says some sexy stuff with weird music and there's a brief nipple shot. She's nude but strategically covered up but you do get to see nipple. It's a nice ad.

The problem I have is the bullshit double standard. In America, we see tons of violence on TV but no nudity. It's bullshit, something several of us Pretentious Critics have ranted about in the past.

As for Eva Mendes herself, if you don't know who she is, you haven't been watching much TV. I first saw her in that awful Robert Rodriguez movie Once Upon a Time in Mexico. She wasn't awful, the movie was. It's too bad because they wasted the talents of Johnny Depp, one of the finer actors out there today.

Born in Miami, Florida, Mendes was born on March 5, 1974.
