Paz Vega

Born January 2, 1976 in Sevilla, Spain, Paz Campos Vega wanted to be a sportswoman when she was young.  Later she wanted to study Political Sciences.  One day she went to a performance of "La casa de Bernarda Alba" and all that changed.  She decided to become an actress.  But she was only 16, so she had to finish her studies.  Time has passed, and now Ms. Vega has worked with directors such as Julio Medem and Pedro Almadovar, won Spain's most prestigious film award - the Goya - and has now (for better or worse) gained the casting attention of the American film studios and directors.
