Team America: World Police is a hilarious action film by the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone. While the humor is a similar style to South Park, the animation is done with hauntingly life-like marionettes. Their movements are funny in their awkwardness, and their facial features are incredibly realistic. The terrorists at the beginning of the movie look truly maniacal and evil.

To combat terrorists and defend freedom around the world, we have Team America, a super force based inside Mount Rushmore. Just like America, they’re brave and powerful, yet cocky as hell and destructive. After the death of one of their members, their boss, Spottswoode, recruits Gary Johnston, an accomplished Broadway actor, to act as a terrorist and infiltrate them. During his mission, he falls in love with his teammate, Lisa, who engage in an erotic marionette sex scene with positions you can’t see in an R-rated movie.

Later in the movie, Team America realizes their true top enemy, North Korea’s Kim Jung Il, who is the best-constructed marionette ever. All his facial expressions are humorous like Mr. Bean, and his voice sounds like the Chinese guy in South Park who builds a wall to keep out the Mongolians. Allied with Kim Jung Il is the Film Actors Guild, which is headed by Alec Baldwin. Team America has to fight these arrogant F.A.G. actors, who bash America and think they know it all, in order to confront the world’s most dangerous man.

All in all, it’s an entertaining and funny movie with an interesting look on the state of the world. It has the uniqueness, crudeness, and memorable music associated with South Park. If you like South Park, a good satire, or watching America kicking ass and terrorists dying, then Team America is a pretty good movie.
