Badman, Kate, and the Zombieslayer and several other friends went to the DNA Lounge and watched the Canadian band The Birthday Massacre. This is their review.

ZS - Chibi, the lead singer of Birthday Massacre, stole the show. She was cute, sexy, and charismatic at the same time. Around the middle of the show, she even lost her voice, but never lost her ability to charm the crowd.

Kate - I liked it. I liked it because she enjoyed working the crowd. You could tell she wanted to be there, even though she was sick.

BM - She was sick cuz I gave her the cootees four nights before when I danced with her in San Jose.

ZS - Ah yes, forgot she did have a cold. What did you think about the guys in the band?

Kate - I liked them. They liked being around her.

ZS - You know what they reminded me of? The guys in Blondie. We all forget that there were guys in Blondie. I almost forgot there were guys in Birthday Massacre. I was watching Chibi the whole time.

BM - Band? She was backed by a band? I never took my eyes off Chibi, so I really couldn't tell you. Really.

ZS - Did you like her outfit?

Kate - It was cute. Her dress had a purplish blend, but with the lighting, was hard to tell. She dressed smart. It was cool, because it was hot in there. I say she dressed smart because it was hot in there and she dressed accordingly. She had shoes on, not boots. They looked like they were comfortable.

BM - She was def. cute, not my fav. (school-girl outfit) but this was def. tight and smooth and short... and she moved well in it. Damn well.

ZS - Musically, they were definitely tight. You could tell they performed together for awhile. I was surprised though when they played the song Blue that Chibi did the evil voice. I thought that was so sexy. I've always been under the impression that it was one of the guys who did that voice.

Kate - Yeah, she was sexy.

ZS - Let it be known, Badman was the first person in the audience to touch her. I did later, but I got to give credit to you for breaking the ice.

BM - Chibi always throws down a good time that way. I love her physicality-super-a-la-dough-shus-ness. I see her every time she slaughters her way through town. I am just soooo surprised (and I love it) that NO ONE shows up to her shows. So I can pretty much have her all to myself. But why is that? I'll tell you - American's have suck-ass taste when it comes to most everything - look at the cars these people drive!
