What? Jar Jar doesn’t die? Well, the fat man got something partially right. No Jar Jar. But a violent death would have been much sweeter, no?
Lucas redeemed himself with this one. Besides the bad dialog and the horrible “you’re breaking my heart” uttered by Natalie Portman, this one’s good. Really good.
If you watched the original Star Wars, you already know what’s going to happen. Annakin becomes Darth Vader. All the other Jedis get killed except for Yoda and Obi-Wan. The Emperor becomes a clear-cut bad guy. Lucas ties this all together and does a good job at it.
