Talledega Nights 2006
First off, Will Ferrell is the funniest man in Hollywood today. His characters and his movies’ unique brand of humor stand out from all the other comedies. That said, Talladega Nights was the movie he was born to star in.
In the movie, Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) a NASCAR driver with two first names, jumps from a pit crew member to a driving sensation. He was so damn good he won a race in reverse. Ricky Bobby was the best racer until a gay Frenchie from Formula 1, Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen), switches to NASCAR. Jean Girard is so damn good he can read novels when he’s driving. Like all his other wacky roles, Cohen is great in this one as well.
